Where should start looking for a GS job?

Im about to retire in 2 years and 3 months and want to live in japan. I want ot find an GS job that pay rather well. My background is in Ordnance and Security. Where should I start? I was thinking about retiring in Misawa, Atsugi, Camp Zama, anywhere in Japan. Any advice will be deeply appriciated, thanks for your time.

You have to be young if you want to find a job in Japan. Even Japanese are struggling to find one if they are over 40.

If you are old enough to retire, it's nearly impossible to find a job in Japan.
Reply:For most workers, the Japanese government requires that you have a four year degree. And you need a solid job offer to qualify for a work visa...Unless you can read, write and speak Japanese at a native level, your back ground will be of little or no value. Jobs will always go to a native Japanese first.

Japan is NOT an easy country to retire to as they have a very closed immigration policy. You can't just move there.

Even a poor country like Thailand requires that you have at least $20,000+ in the bank and a monthly income of at least $1,500...How about Florida?
Reply:Its hard to get a citizenship in Japan there are alot of regulations, first off you will not be a citizen in 2 years. it might take about 3-7 years. so I don't know what to tell you.
Reply:How about check here?
