.....going to be? I have enough money to spare to last me around 6 months without a job, and more to get me through an entire year (which is about how long I'll be staying) but would rather have a job. I've now acquired all my legal documents, and now just need the job. Any advice? I must admit, my Italian is poor. I mean, I can work out what people are saying and they can me but it might take a minute or so. Also, my age might have something to do with it...I am only 18. But, since I have been 16 I have worked in a hotel (the same hotel) dealing with the public and working with computers. I'm hoping I might be able to find a job at a hotel here, because I know a bit about it...though, I'm assuming there will be some differences.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you that Rome is the city I am in. Thanks again.
I have been in Italy for exactly one week now, it is time to start looking for a job. How difficult is this...
Be a tour guide. Especially with all the cruise ships that go to rome. Get to see places for free. I worked on cruise ships and got offered to be an english speaking tour guide. They say you need to have accreditation, but there are a lot of companies that really dont care if you dont, the problem is finding one that will hire you.
Good Luck
