I am looking for a job and have no experince?
maybe your resume sucks

Where are you applying? Apply for all the security companies in your area one will hire you. If you can't find a job you are being picky about something.
Reply:Hit up the mall with a decent resume. Thats how I got my first job.
Reply:waiter, bagger at a grocery store, retail job. i know it's not a CEO position but it will have to do for now.
Reply:With the current climate the way it is you're gonna find it hard. I have qualifications and experience and am older than you are, i have been for 7 interviews so far with no luck! That doesn't mean you should just give up trying, but you may have more luck if you do voluntary work 1st and gain some basic qualifications such as maths, english and computer skills. An apprenticeship would be your best option, where you will be trained up on the job and paid a wage and will have a career at the end of it.

Good luck
Reply:go back in after about a week and "check on your application"
Reply:Look for a job that requires no experience. Keep trying, something will turn up. Looking for a job sucks, makes me feel better about having to go to work in 2 hours. Thanks.
Reply:McDonalds is the perfect place for you!
Reply:Dont know where you are from...

But Im in Va right now, and honestly I have been looking for work for months now!

I go apply, and I have experience out my butt! And I still hear nothing.

The economy is too weak right now.

They could possibly just keep your application on file and you could get lucky... you might not have been qualified, or they just have not got around to calling yet.

Have you tried calling them back to check the status of your application? Thats always good to do. Shows determination. Try to put a resume together to turn in with your application, though there is no job history, put any education or trades you may have. Community services you may have did.

Good luck
Reply:Hi

Firstly, I know what you feel because I was in similar situation like you. Actually I had a job but it was minimum wage work and I didn't like it at all!

I searched for a long time for a new job but I couldn't find one, mostly because of the recession.

Anyhow I found my way to success and now I'm working from the comfort of my own home and I am making decent and stable income ( a lot more than my previous job).

The best thing is that you don't need any former experience at all!

You can read how I did it here:

http://www.changethewage.com

I hope it will be helpful for you.

Good luck!
Reply:I would say check back with some of the places you've already tried. Maybe you can walk-in or call them. Places usually will hire you if you show them you are really interested in the job. Your best bet is to go to the jobs %26amp; ask to speak to the manager %26amp; tell him you are really looking for a job. The worst would be him/her telling you they aren't hiring but at least you tried.
Reply:i would go to your local city's website for youth employment/employment...

google up your city + summer jobs or jobs

it should help you.

but if you have absolutely no experience and no one responds, then i wouldn't just lay it plain out for ppl on the interveiw; glamour up your resume.

i'm learning career stuff in school right now: use nice words: instead of 'cleaning dishes', you 'maintained sanitation at the establishment.' sounds a lot better, your not lying at the same time.

google up websites for a good resume: i think this website called AIE: http:www.aie.org/HighSchool/Jobs/SampleR...

experience also conts as school things: planning a school party, editor of newspaper, volunteer work, ect.

and if any of your relatives own their own establishment--even if it's just a shoe store, or a book store, restaraunt, ect. it helps: they'll go easy on you, you set your pace, and you gain experience since you'll probably stay there longer.

you can also tell them that you can volunteer work for like 2 weeks to see if you're what they're looking for--do whatever it takes to show that you're dedicated, and you deserve consideration. start up at the bottom--busboy or somethng, then move up--now you're gaining experience!!! and trust.

sure, you can always score a job @ hotspots: @ the mall, or a fast food chain. but for fast food, that's not really real word experience since it's really simple; there's a huge difference in restaraunt experience, and fast food job experience.

to make things easier, i wouldn't always aim for spots that you'll see friends all the time/ ppl that know you... sometimes it gets embarrassing. esp. @ the drive-thru. and w/ relatives, you also have to think if money will pose as a problem; them paying you enough, ect. but if you volunteer it to gain SOME experience, then it's good: like free tutoring in as many areas as you can, even if it's a dab.
Reply:You got to build your experience. Start looking for a job at a fast food restaurant or a grocery store. Those are your best bets. After you get some solid work experience (Over a year at a job with good references) you could move on to say a bank or a hotel. Then you just got to keep branching. It's really hard to find a job at this time! You have many people that have multiple years of experience even snatching up jobs at McD's.
Reply:Your 19 and have never had a job? You must be a spoiled rich kid. Try a grocery store or retail. You have to network. And if all that fails you can always "beef" up your resume. *wink
Reply:im 18 an worked quite a few jobs. the best thing i can tell you is 2 show them that your interested. call every week to check on your application and stuff like that. put on your applications that your a fast learner and willing to learn new things
