I'm 16 and looking for a job, where should I start at?

Mcdonalds, Burger King, etc... What jobs treat you well and whats the minimum I will get paid for full time in the state of Texas (Dallas Area).

When I was 16 I took a job at a movie theater and I loved it!!! I worked there 8 years!! Try to get a job in the box office. It's the best place to work! We got to see free movies on off days so I always had something to do when I was bored! I highly recommend it! I worked for Cinemark. Which I believe is big in the Texas area! Good Luck!
Reply:I started working @ 14 and was an independent contractor for a company that was selling greeting cards - made a lot of money, I always had well over $1,000 in the bank.





You can find a company that has that type of policy selling stuff - where you can be your own boss. It will teach you how to handle people and $$$ and more importantly it will teach you to be independent.

Reply:A question for you is, what do you like to do in your spare time? Try to find something you enjoy doing and make it a job or ask " how can I make some money doing this?".





Yes you could work at McDonald's or BK or any other fast food place. I would do it just for work experience.





My first job was as a dish washer in a big hotel, it didn't last long. Like I said try to find something you like doing and see if you can somehow get paid to do it.
