I'm 21years old and am looking for a job in the medical field, with great pay and little patient contact. I considered Medical Transcription. I have done a lot of research on it, but everyone says the pay drops and most people advise not to enter into that field now. I would like something that wouldnt take more than 1 or 2 years of school so I can start working soon. Any ideas?
Looking for a job in the medical field. Any suggestions?
Here's a suggestion. Since you don;t want patient contact, try selling medical equipment to doctors. I do it all day long - and - get great pay for it! If you know the medical field - you can use that knowledge to establish the contacts with the doctors and fill their needs. I am an Equipment Leasing Broker. I bring people together who want to get equipment and those that want to lend money. In today's world, banks do not want to lend - so it is a great way to make a living. During recessions, I do better than in good times, as people still need to buy or replace equipment. Good luck with whichever direction you take !
Reply:How about Medical Billing? It's different than transcripting. However the pay is not that great unless you are great at it. Um there are not that many jobs in the health care field that offer great pay for little contact with patients. How about a xray tech? Not too much contact for long periods of time. Maybe working in the lab with blood test and ect...?
Reply:great pay and little patient contact would be medical billing you can look at the medical billing page at PureMEDICALjobs.com as well as other careers in the med field good luck
