Looking for a driving job, courier, or something like that, any suggestions?

I am looking for a driving job, everytime i do a job search for driver it comes up HGV. I have my own car, where do i look for courier, delivering parcels, or any goods. I have a jack russell dog and want to take him along other than leave him home alone.

I can definitely tell you, if you would like to work for a courier company you'll have plenty of chances. Just log on to the top ones, (FEDEX, TNT), they both have location depots to choose from where you can submit your CV online (and they need them almost constantly).





Not sure about your dog though, these are highly regulated companies, strong in health and safety.





If the dog is the priority, get involved in small to medium haulage companies (search in the yellow pages for example) although some of them may require you provide your own HGV.

Reply:Try courier companies in your area, they sometimes have "flyers" that need to go straight away. It may only be bits and pieces at first but can build up quite quickly.
