Ive just earned my A+ through self study but now need experience.
What kind of jobs should I be looking for and where is best to find them?
Im currently listed on Monster, but not really had any response.
Or have I just wasted my time?

Congratulations on passing. I passed Comptia A+ last year and found registering with employment sites a complete waste of time. I even emailed over 15 local IT companies/computer shops asking for a unpaid placement to gain more experience, and got 1 reply.
I'd recommend doing IT related voluntary work with a charity to gain more experience, then you would be a better position. I've only just started doing that myself, so it's too early to say it will stand me in good stead for the future - but hopefully it will.
Some people recommend doing another course like Newtorking etc. Sorry I can't be of more help
