Did you find something you like or did you settle for anything for the money? At the end, how did you find the job that you took?

I was not really looking. But my friend used to come into my store and cash his paychecks, just to show me how much money he was making. He was in sales. Now, 8 years later we both still work for the same company; however, neither of us are in sales anymore. And the funny thing, I am his boss...hee hee

my boyfriend works security and they needed a doorgirl that night so they called and asked him to ask me


and it just stuck


its great money, and considering im a college student and im not looking for anything full time it works.
Reply:The last job I had, I spent 1yr looking for, write before my UC bennies ran out, and that was 3 yrs ago, and 1yr 1/2 later I have come to hate that job, and started to look for another new job, which I found last Wed. 9/22/08
Reply:3 years. I had a few jobs during that time, but I kept looking for something better. I was informed about the job opening by a former co-worker.
Reply:It took me a week to find my last job. I was there for a year and a half then quit because of school.
Reply:I did not look for it, they came to me! I hated the job, i quit like 8 months later!

Reply:6 months, and I am a registered Nurse... it takes FOREVER to find someone to hire you these days.
