When should I start looking for a summer job?

I'm 18 and decided to just focus on college this semester, but I definitely need a job for summer! I have some experience working in a small fast food place and a pretzel joint. I don't want to have to compete with lots of highschool and college students looking for a summer job (especially in this economy) so when should I start my frantic search?
When should I start looking for a summer job?
Retail and grocery stores get 100 applications per week. Yo need to go where the teenagers do not go. Golf courses, office buildings, and industrial areas. YOu might drive a forklift or load trucks but you will work. Apply in April..
Reply:Start now! If you really don't want to compete with all the other students then invest your time in something that will continue to make money for you when you go back to school.

I am an Arbonne Consultant and I would be happy to work with you and show you how to work an Arbonne Business of your own.

Most of Arbonne's Independent Consultants start their buisness when they already have a job, are a student, or have a house full kids. We have a few students like you that while in school became top consultants with Arbonne and received their white mercedes.

Arbonne is a Health and Wellness Company. Been in business for over 29 years and are respected members of the Direct Selling Association. They have something for everyone and are what people are looking for now. Most people want to make healthier choices these days.

You choose Arbonne and can work your schedule. If you get a job, you have to find someone to hire you and then you have to work the schedule they give you. You will be starting your own small business and you will keep receiving income even once you are back at school.

I am not sure how much a summer job pays, but Arbonne offers you the opporturnity to create a very nice income.

Please don't think this is just some get rich scheme. It is work, but in this case work pays off and you make what you are worth. No boss to decide for you.

I can't really give you all the information here, but please consider it. Email me through my profile if you would like more information and then you can decide if it would fit what you want.

Live Happy,

Karen
Reply:NOW. If you want a job, start looking. I've been trying to find one too. I'm 18 as well and I want a summer job. I haven't been able to find one though. Our economy sucks. Gosh.

Anyways, start looking as soon as possible, and maybe you can find one by summer.

Good luck!
