Some places to try are boarding stables or horse racetracks. At your age you might be able to get a job cleaning stalls. Its not glamorous but its a foot in the door and a way to make contacts with a lot of horse owners.
Reply:If I were you, I'd contact the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association and get a list of local trainers. You might also contact the managers of local horse shows to find out if there are any ring crew jobs going on weekends.
