Should I be worried about whats on my myspace when I'm looking for a job?

Alright so there's some pictures of me drinkin, hanging out with strippers, standing next to a few pounds of weed (wasn't mine), briefcase full money, a couple guns, and cutting up a human body.
Should I be worried about whats on my myspace when I'm looking for a job?
None of that is too bad except the weed. I'd worry about that one.

Reply:yes, you should be worried. Bosses and employers may google you and if they find your myspace profile, they may demote you or fire you. The situations you have mentioned yourself in seem to be quite inappropriate for your boss or whoever to be looking at. If you can't change your myspace photos, i suggest you change it to a PRIVATE profile. and put a respectable photo as your default.

I know im only in high school and I wouldn't no anything but there is this class I take called student police academy... the officer told us that job people and college people will search your name on the internet and myspace to see what you are really like to tell if you will be really dedicated or a slacker... so... just watch wat you put on ur myspace
