Actually that's easy. LOTS of ways..you just have to be the first there when an opening occurs, like getting in a web chat room !!
Their should be a job bank that posts openings, also schools have bulletin boards full of these aimed at students, of course your local rag, but the best way of all is to just GO to the area you would like to work in, and go door to door asking "do ya have an opening now or will you soon do you think, I'd like to hand you my resume and take an app and fill it out..."
You see, it's that PERSONAL contact that will give you an edge, because YOU seem to them to be the most eager and motivated !!!
