Got fired while I was looking for another job?

I was fired, company said that personalities did not fit. And that I wasn't getting anything done in time, in which I did. I asked what I didn't get done in time? He said I don't have specifics....... I had another interview that day I got fired. Maybe they found out how do you explain this in an interview? Any advice or help is appreciated!

Make sure you don't bad-mouth the company! That looks real bad to a future employer. Just say "although the company was awesome, it wasn't a good fit for me - I'm looking for a position that best utilizes my skills where I can continue to advance and grow," etc. If you are backed into a corner about it, just tell them they found out you were looking for another job and that they felt it was a conflict of interest, and so you parted ways amicablly.





Look at the bright side. Since they fired you, you are now eligible for unemployment! File, collect, and take your time finding the *perfect* job. Good luck.

Most U I offices will question the employer and


then explain to you .


I would just list it as a layoff until you get more specific info .
