My husband and I are looking for full-time jobs in or near Raleigh, NC, but no bites - any ideas?

I live near Raleigh and you're competing with a lot of educated folks (graduates from NC State, Peace College, St. Augustine, UNC, Duke) . You may have to start with a lower paying job and look for a better job while paying the bills or work your way up. You can try monster.com and the local paper (Raleigh News and Observer or Durham Herald), but the best way would be to apply directly at company web sites in the area.

A lot of the local towns offer jobs (Cary, Garner, Clayton, Morrisville), as well as the counties (Wake, Durham and Orange) or the State, (since government agencies usually can't pay as well as corporations can, but the State has good benefits): http://www.osp.state.nc.us/jobs/

Good luck!
